I agree Tim, energy independance is wishful thinking for the next 40 or 50 years... I think by then we may be into an entirely new energy source, one that involves the use of electromagnetism and approaches anti gravity...until then we will drink oil... it is one of the major fuels of the Global Economy and will remain so. in the last two centuries we have seen flight, electricity, computers, internet and other fantastic ideas and inventions... whats the next biggie....A new energy source..... regards
