To all...(in the event this thread survives...vbg) :
I have incorporated Shack's "State of the Thread" post, of 02/04/2006, into the thread header...both because of its elaboration of the guidelines for the thread and the reasoning behind the guidelines...and also illustrative of the "atmosphere" which has prevailed here..
I'd like to add a few words here..
All forms of TA welcome...but clear that EW and classic TA the most widely understood and used...Thus I would urge users of less commonly understood TA...e. g. Gann, Forks, Sequentials, FIB extensions, Japanese Candlesticks, etc....to state as clearly as possible...in non-technical language... the conclusions they draw from their charts and use of those methods.
As to charts...we all have access to our own charts, so there is little point to posting simple unannotated charts..And a relatively clear, simple development need not always be demonstrated with a chart...Text alone can may times do..
When presenting an annotated chart, however, I would urge that the chart be embedded rather than linked...and in any event, one or the other, but, please, not both..vbg |
