Cokie Roberts has turned into a xenophobe like most regressives. To regard Hawaii as equivalent to a foreign country is ridiculous. There are Americans living and working there! Not everybody in Hawaii is a tourist! People who go there to visit family are NOT tourists! Well, maybe the fact that about 75% of the folks in Hawaii are non-White, has something to do with Cokie's stupid remark?! What next? If Obama goes to Alaska, would she accuse him of "moving closer to Russia"?! Sheesh! As a friend said, "Why doesn’t she just bleach her hair, shorten her skirt and get hired on at FOX so she and the rest of the rabble there can howl at any number of imaginary moons?"
