Looking at the chart as a whole, it looks like Bob's model is picking up the intermediate-term lows, but it hasn't picked up the longer term trend to lower lows. Re: "Brinker's latest 'all in buy level'" and "do I hear low 1200s?" I sure hope this most recent low is the final low, but I'm getting a sneaky suspicion that it may not be. I wouldn't be surprised to see mid- to upper-1100's or lower before we see new highs. But I'm not "betting" any money on either scenario. I'll let my current asset allocation ride for a while, with the exception of my ongoing biweekly retirement plan contributions being dollar-cost-averaged into the market. Best wishes, I2
