Your initial post was wrong. Intel tried to compete with Classmate, but it failed. Even with all of the arm twisting and all. Even Atom is too power hungry to make it in XO. Of course, if XO would take off, I expect AMD to shrink it to 55nm or whatever the process that costs the least per die is at TSMC. At 55nm bulk, look for the power used to drop even further and the performance goes up. Profits could be upwards of $10 an XO. At $100 million a quarter, it would pay off the debt all by itself while showing the world that AMD has enough unit share to be considered a duopoly. That could break Intel's hold once and for all. And that scares you and your fellow intellabees shitless.
