Pravin , re DEC buying out AMD to fix their yield problems. I think you will find that AMD has more experience in producing CPUs They have produced 50 million in the last 5 yrs , how many has DEC ? Granted DEC is producing Higher speed parts but that is due I believe to the pure RISC architecture in their processors , regards , Brian
