Wbmw:

The first blunder wasn't according to this:

amd.com

The 500MHz Geode LX 800 has 0.9W typical when compared core to core like Atom's 2.5W TDP. If you want to use the 2.4W TDP then you must add the Atom chipset which pushes Atom to 8W TDP.

And this is also included in that TDP:

Oops how about your blunder in saying Geode didn't have USB ports, IDE interfaces and audio? Lets see some acknowledgements about those. Don't like the screwups being on your side?

As for 250nm bulk being a problem, it really isn't. So it has been updated to 130nm bulk. It still can be made at any of the major foundries. Geode NX is 130nm copper. Although the Geode GX process is not stated. This says that Geode GX is 150nm bulk:

en.wikipedia.org

It also stated that Geode GX was used in the original OLPC. And Geode GX was made in various stages in 350nm, 250nm, 180nm and 150nm all bulk. LX was made using 130nm aluminum.

Thus I didn't make any blunder at all. You did though.

Pete

PS the OLPC uses the 400MHz version of Geode GX.
