The purchase order is for handheld devices that test for Anthrax, Ricin Toxin, Botulinum Toxin, Y. Pestis (Plague), and Staphylococcal Entertoxin B (SEB). The purchase order also includes simulation kits that mimic a real world "white powder" incident.
UNDT has supplied its biological test equipment to first responders throughout the country including the Washington, D.C. Fire and Emergency Medical Services and the City of Burbank Fire Department. This order, however, marks the Company's first order from a state government. The equipment is also used by the U.S. DOD to train first responders on the proper use of the equipment at the Dugway Proving Grounds in Utah.
UNDT's Biological test kits are designed to test for Anthrax, Ricin, Botulinum Toxin, Plague and SEB's in as little as 3 Minutes.
