The idea of the Sacajawea and Susan B Anthony dollars was, as you point out, to let the therapeutic state check off boxes on its list of identity groups. As our culture continues to "mature", and classes of victim status are further refined and regimented, new coins will have to be added. We can put our actresses, basketball players, and tennis stars on our coins. It will help the anthropologists of the future trace the collapse.
