A going business has a rolling debt that should not be more than 30 to 45 days old. Any more aging than that and they will piss off suppliers. Did the David Evans e-mail say what was the average age on those payables and how far is the oldest debt aged to? If their average is above 60 days and they have outstanding payables at more than 120 days then the business is in a lot of trouble! JD
