Doug, do you think perhaps mas is trying to cover his bases? If Nehalem performs less than expected, now he can say he is right. If Nehalem blows past expectations, I'm sure he can find a past post that predicted that as well. If that's his tactic, then I can see where this discussion is going to end up.
