TIM the great depression also saw recovery and then crisis again in 1936 and 1937.....had it not been for re armament in 1939 and conscription in 1941 the depression might well have continued. also check the election issues of 1936....it was scary.jmho as you can see from charts such as this ,recovery was weak at the end of the 30s chartsrus.com historic charts...home page chartsrus.com
