Last week we talked about Blood Pressure and Cholesterol. Here are some numbers I found going back a few years. I started the BP pills in 2001 when I didn't pay much attention to diet or weight.

2001- TC-206, HDL-35,LDL-143,TRIG-139 CH/H Ratio 5.89
2002- don't have that record
2003- TC-199, HDL-32,LDL-138,TRIG-144 CH/H Ratio 6.2
2004- TC-192, HDL-32,LDL-134,TRIG-130 CH/H Ratio 6.0

After 2004 I decided to get more serious and begin to change some of the foods I ate.

2005- TC-159, HDL-31,LDL-114,TRIG-88 CH/H Ratio 5.1
2006- TC-162, HDL-33,LDL-127,TRIG-69 CH/H Ratio 5.0
2007- TC-148, HDL-40,LDL- 92,TRIG-79 CH/H Ratio 3.7
2008- No test this year yet

Also I now notice for years '05-07 the VLDL has been steady at 15.

I haven't done any specific diet, haven't increased my exercise output, or taken supplements on a regular basis. What stands out to me is how far the TRIGs have fallen. Also the TC being down 40-50 pts is good. Haven't been able to move the HDL much at all. I believe just being careful with what one eats can make a difference. Hopes to be able to drop it some more this year.
