excess stress has real consequences, not the least of which is excess cortisol production that hammers the body over time.

a unified way to look at the problem is one of hormonal imbalance. both diet and ongoing stress can throw our hormones out of wack and wreak havoc on our bodies over time.

i think i read statins sales have almost doubled over the last 5 or 6 years. too bad there hasn't been a significant reduction in heart disease to show for the extra billions spent on statins.
