No its completly true.

bullbud made a rather specific statement, that had a particular time frame. Not "tens of thousands of deaths", but "wipe out tens of thousands of Iraqi civilians in a few months."

"few months" is important.

And it would seem "wipe out" as in "we wiped out" is important to, since deaths from the actions of our enemies where not lives that we wiped out.
