Why I chose SEG:

I was in QNTM from $11 ending 1994. I believe computers will need hard drives until someone figures out another storage media.

SEG has had some short term earnings' difficulties. This is not a problem for me. I also bought INTC about January 1996 in mid $50's. There was much conversation about "saturation" of the markets, etc..

I look for companies that I think will be here; they may go down a few dollars, but usually they return to favor. I also bought more GTE a couple of days ago after it fell.

I consider SEG the INTC/MSFT in its niche. Last reason, my husband has SEG at 39 7/8. SEG is down from its yearly high. I had KLIC at 9/10 July 1996; AMAT at $22 July/Aug. 1996 & both came back - big time. They had astonishing P/E's last summer of 1996, yet no one was buying. November 1996 - AMAT started moving upward.
All these are premier companies.
