It SOOO doesn't matter. Tax policy is a result of legislation proposed by the House Ways and Means Committee and is pretty much dictated by the JCT and its staff. Anything Obama or McCain says about taxes is electioneering. What DOES matter is Obama's gross incompetence on foreign policy matters. His sluggishness is coming toward McCain's position on the Georgia situation is an example. The sum total of the man's experience when he began this run for the presidency was 143 days in the US Senate. 143 Days. And it shows to anyone who bothers to notice. Now, he is in Hawaii -- not vacationing, but working his ass off to memorize his lines for the "debate". Every conceivable question is being analyzed and a response prepared and committed to memory. No town halls for Obama -- he isn't ABOUT to put himself in a position to be asked a question he hasn't memorized an answer to. And he'll fool you people. But in real life, the script cannot be memorized -- Russia goes after George. Bin Laden goes after the WTC. A US plane gets downed near China. Shit happens. You have to be able to respond to these crises effectively, and Obama has not shown himself to be able to do anything of the sort.
