We all (including Bush) have intellect and ideas. That's not a sufficient qualification to become president.

What about some kind of qualification for the work to be done? Understanding of foreign policy? Economics? The Military?

I don't doubt Obama has "intellect". But that simply isn't enough -- smart people make big mistakes in judgment every day. It is experience and knowledge, not intellect, that over the years, allows one to become surefooted. Obama has shown how weak he is on this Georgian thing. Imagine him at the helm should another 9/11 occur? The man isn't ready for the job.

No matter what a person thinks of McCain's ability or positions, the fact that Obama clearly, obviously isn't ready for the job, ought to make you people THINK before you pull the lever.
