Since 911 it has worked well. That's funny... We left them alone, then we did not consider the Taliban a threat. We left them alone because the russians were defeated...that was the goal...we didn't give a shit about afghani...there's nothing there but dust anyway...until they turned on us that is. I don't think the Georgians who already had a democratic government is going to be overrun by terrorists, nor do I think we will ignore them this time around. No probably not...they'll be overrun by russians instead, they'll have their country destroyed and set back half a century...all over a province that thinks it wants to be part of russia instead of georgia. I wonder what we'd do if northern mexico had a majority of american civilians and decided to split off from mexico and mexico sent in the army to stop it.
