Let's see. Microsoft's IPO took place on March 14, 1986 (22 years ago). At the end of that day Microsoft had a market cap of roughly $520 Million (imagine if you adjust for inflation). Now little ole Lightwave Logic has a current market cap of approximately $53 Million (August 2008). At the time Microsoft went public it already had a market cap 10x that of LWLG. Today, Microsoft has a market cap of $255 Billion. Yeah, I know Microsoft was already making gobs of money at the time of the IPO. Imagine if you could have invested in Microsoft in 1982 when Microsoft had the soon to be ubiquitous operating system but little in the way of revenues. Well investing in LWLG now is like investing in Microsoft in 1982 (even though you couldn't invest in Microsoft in 1982). Yeah, LWLG is not presently making money but that is soon to change and in a very big way. Time to open up that "barn door" and crash the party.
