He is right on that one. Regardless of what the world believes or not, its apples and oranges.

First of all, the world does not see things through an American lens as you do. Secondly, Putin knows exactly what he he is doing when he compares his invasion of Georgia with the American invasion of Iraq. It gives him considerable traction with world opinion whether its apples or oranges, or not.

For the past few years, any fool could see Putin was building to this moment.
