So if he is insincere in his personal life, it doesn't increase the likelihood he's insincere in his political life?

If, for no other reason, one need only look at the disruption to the nation's business that occurred when Clinton was philandering in office. Instead of stopping bin Laden, he was busy trying to defend his own political career from a never-ending series of bimbo eruptions.

There are plenty of reasons to avoid electing someone who cheats on his wife but the fact that it puts a man in the position of having to have his attention diverted is reason enough.
