get your point but my question is still there for you to answer. Hussein was indeed a threat, whether immediate or not was questionable but we know his aims were evil. Georgia is not what iraq was nor is its leader. Georgia wouldnt be attacking iran and kuwait as saddam did. Georgia wasnt building nukes. Georgia has a democraticallly elected govt. And so on.

Huh? Georgia attacked S. Ossetia with the troops trained by the US. Do you really believe the S. Ossetians don't see Georgia in the same way as Kuwait saw Iraq? And if so, why? I know that if I were a S. Ossetian, I would see the much bigger Georgia as a major threat........particularly given GA's 20 year view of S. Ossetian independence.
