JMBA...Thank you. Thought this was interesting. We have a small orange grove that has Valencia oranges which are juice oranges. While my husband was in the hospital, I called the man who sends a crew to harvest our crop asking him when they were coming. He told me that while he'd love to pick our crop, he wasn't sure he could. He then told me that the plant that takes the oranges and makes juice was having problems selling the juice. Apparently with the economy people have cut back on it and in addition there are oranges from other countries that have hurt Florida growers. He said in essence there was a bottle neck at the plant. Fortunately, a few weeks later he called and said he would be there the next day to get the crop. Needless to say we were thrilled. Lots of work went into that grove to grow the crop and then to not be able to sell it would have been very sad....
