Skeeter,

I don't think that it matters how many shares they have if the shares have not been sold into the market. This is what I take issue with as far as mr ptm is concerned.

If one takes Riley's numbers as being factual, then there are more shares in the hands of "ordinary" investors than have been officially issued. Granted, we are assuming that Riley has been forthright or maybe more importantly, that all those that have reported to him have been honest.

What do we have to determine whether or not there really is a massive short position? Consider all the negative posts. It is one thing for someone to honestly question what is going on. It is another thing for there to be hundreds (thousands?) of posts by a relative minority. The most telling evidence (IMO) are the press releases that try to convince investors that Olympus did not exist, the bogus web site (obviously not intended to portray a real company site, but to ridicule the company) and then a posting of supposedly a letter between attorneys.

Either this is the most elaborate scam one can imagine with two sides being orchastrated with exceptional finesse, or there is a situation where someone stands to lose an incredible amout of money (those who have shorted millions of shares). Right now I am betting (not the farm, not the car, not even the cats <hey, I place a lot of value on these critters>) that the latter is the case.

I don't know what your angle is. Maybe you don't have one. However, I get the impression that, more and more, you are trying to be other than a passive observer.
