Ossetia is the home of the russian mob and russian passports. What you think happened may not have. You have a knee jerk reaction to be on the side opposite that of the US or at least the Bush admin. I have talked to folks in a position to know the truth and none know exactly what happened. You are very quick however to ignore the fact that georgia is a fellow democracy but thats nothing new for some on the left. Ask Parsons what i mean.

Oh hell! Until this week, I didn't even know that the S. Ossetians were not Georgians. I thought this might be another Chechnya....different religions or different dialects. However, they are different people with different origins. Even then, I would say.....mix it up...why not? But for 20 years, the S. Ossetians have wanted to be rejoined with N. Ossetia in Russia. They have fought like hell whenever the Georgians have tried to force them into a union.

Meanwhile, Bush is adamantly insisting the breakaway provinces belong to Georgia. Now if you still think that makes sense, go for it but I firmly believe its in the best interest of everyone to accept the reality and go from there.

Generally, I am not on the same side as Bush because I am not as stupid as he is. Now, please, find a new criticism......I am sick to death of this one.
