No, I'm telling you I don't know what TX's proven oil reserves are and don't feel interested enough to look it up.

As to your definition of reserves - "its limit" - that is not known by anybody.

Yes, they've (foolishly) developed their offshore oil reserves and are an oil exporter.

And their standard of living is at least the equal of ours...

Oh its much higher. They ride bikes to work in the rain because they like to. Economic necessity caused by $10 gasoline has absolutely nothing to do with it.
