Speaking of blunders, what about the Roki tunnel ? Why didn't the Georgians block it at the start of their offensive ? Certainly the only thing it was good for was a Russian counterattack. Now I can see the Americans, being geographically challenged, of overlooking this aspect. However, the Georgians also had military assistance from the Israelis, who I am certain would be on top of things. Something wrong here.
