Wow TH. Watched the the Bill Moyers interview with Andrew Bacevich - a very impressive fellow. I had never heard of the man before, but I'll keep an ear out for him in the future. Certainly speaks to points that are familiar concerns to this board. Loved the "ponzi scheme" comment! If I'm not mistaken, did Professor Bacevich finally say the emperor (literally) has to clothes. Unbelievable that this candidness of discourse has yet to reach the poin of mainstream political dialogue. The Professor is correct I believe, American society (generally, or at very least its media and political elites) are still in denial. How much longer can this last? g
