doug, the extra shares dillute intrinsic shareholder value. sounds like you are swinging for the fences on a short squeeze, though, so this doesn't appear too important to you. You are right on both counts. I think that what you and others are missing is that none of us (IMO) will be buying when (if) the price starts to esculate. We will be selling in stages as the price rises. I have never attempted to persuade anyone to buy at any price. If this works great, if not, the sun will rise tomorrow (only if the rooster crows, of course). I believe that there is a chance that the squeeze will work; you don't. Just as an aside: you are becomming an enigma to me. Just when I am certain that I have you figured out, you throw me a curve by posting as a reasonable sceptic. Doug M
