Luckly they start using these foreign experiences as a guidances for their analaysis. Before you had people had only the 400Km radius around where they lived plus the libraries to draw from.

Today, ideally, a 25 year old from Europe or US/Canada, need to spend one year in Africa. One year in Asia and One year in LATAM. That on top of know two languages besides mother tongue.

Globalization it is not only the movement of goods and capital across borders. It is ideas and people across borders too.

Poeple like Kiwis and Aussies and South Americans (they are faraway from everything) will be at a huge disadvantage if do not live in other countries.

When I talk about Aldi,it is because I used to buy groceries in Lindwurmstrasse, in the corner of which Poccistrasse, I lived in Munich.

When I talk about communist system it is because I lived 1 and 1/2 years in Prague and talked with my friends there to get to know how the communist system was.
