Manalagi, it would have been insulting( and damaging politics to boot) to Warren for Obama to not accept his word that McCain would be safely ensconced in a "cone of silence" as he also assured the viewers.. McCain is making a big mistake here, imo..if not for the media, people like Andrea Mitchell, being seduced by him, he'd be a garden variety miserable husband of an heiress who doles out his daily allowance based on fulfilling that elusive "checklist"....
