I recommended to buy the Real as a buy in December 2004, but at the moment there is to much turmoil in the world markets IMHO to make a decisive recommendation.

Lets see after the Olympics and Georgia where the world economies are headed.

IMHO what is going on with Russia will have repercussion on the world and as a result on financial markets - the markets priced in a settlement of some sorts and all goes back to the usual

- my bet is that Russia painted itself in a corner and knowing the Russians with their stupid pride and megalomania which is higher than Mt, Everest I do not see a quick return to business as before, because NATO failed to react promply and the games that are going on today.

Until covert operation within the help of the many minorities within Russia north of the Caucasus and east of the Don/Volga River will not start, I do not see a quick remedy as it seems that NATO are sh^%$#ting in their pants and do not want to stand up to the Kremlin tugs.

Most inappropriate statements where made by Schröder, who is now a Gasprom "employee" only reflect the divisive situation in EU
