I can't at all disagree with anything in your post and I gave it a rec too.. My gut tells me that he will, after the convention, using his VP and other surrogates put the hammer down...I only have his brief political career pattern to go by..he closed strong in his Senate race, and late last summer/early fall, right here on this thread we were perturbed that he wasn't attacking Hillary..By that fateful Oct 30th debate, she began to dissemble all by herself... Frankly, I can't bear to think of him NOT going on the offense after the conventions...he's also needed this time during the summer to introduce himself to the Indies and moderate Republicans that share the disdain for the divisive politics of personal destruction... I don't know..I share your fear that Obama will let this slip..but we also have to remember that there are a whole lot of Democratic operatives that want to win...
