SONKI--- I too picked up more SUNW Friday. After MSFT earnings are announced the plan is to act fast on good numbers and hold for further drop on bad. Once they are known I will buy more AMAT and SUNW. Possibly (if margin permits) a little more ORCL also. I believe there is a ton of good buys out there now. These should see new highs no later than January and possibly earlier. The techs were overreacted on simply because they have had great earnings for so long and Nervous Nellies grabbed profits in order to buy at a higher price later. The market makers are making a killing. The brokerage houses will turn in tremendous profits on all the shares traded. We can also make a good buck by taking advantage of bargain prices. The trick is not to aim for the lowest price.... be certain the bottom has been reached and the uptick is not just a tease. Since it is impossible to be 100% certain I will buy in steps over days as the price increases and hold on any retreat. But then what the hell do I know or I would have been in 100% cash in order to buy now. So I will go 100% of my marginability,,, exactly what I suggest people do not do and suggest they keep at least 20% of margin in case of this happening so no calls are made. I just cannot pass issues like SUNW and AMAT at this level. If I were not so loaded on CPQ I would buy it also..... now my kids have a few bucks margin available and CPQ looks good there......or ORCL.....or SUNW! I sure enjoy buying quality issues at these prices................ JOHN
