It blows me away that the Russians gave Putin their vote of confidence. Its so obvious what he's doing.......why would they want to go backwards?" He's got 'em standing tall in the world again. Their individual lives have improved. What's not to like, from the Russian citizen perspective? They liked him, they voted for him. Ahh......my blind spot. I'm thinking democracy while the Russians are thinking power, glory, prestige and a chicken in every pot.
