"Ahh......my blind spot. I'm thinking democracy while the Russians are thinking power, glory, prestige and a chicken in every pot." It's not just the Russians. The Chinese seem very pleased with their current leadership, and the Chinese leadership seem very concerned with how their citizens view them. I don't think that democracy is the end of development for governmental forms. I'm not advocating any of the other forms, I'm just saying the results are mixed at best. Our country is probably more against it's current leadership than either Russia or China. I think Russia and China are growing new forms right now.
