Why can't you publicly present your opinion, supported with facts, without jumping into the pig pen? Definitely a sign that you cannot support your pipe dream.

oil dependence is killing our economy and national security

First of all, oil dependence is not killing our economy, the high price of buying oil off the world market is since we are blocked from producing our own God given natural resources.

Second, oil dependence is not killing our security, again, the weaken security is from having our own domestic sources of energy blocked.

When the alternative becomes feasible and does not kill our economy as the latest ethanol nonsense is, or when we run out of oil and higher cost alternatives are necessary, I see no reason to continue screwing Americans because Cindy Sheehan is going to kick Pelosi's butt if she goes against the kook left in her district. That is being shortsighted, and demonstrating an eight year old's level of intelligence...
