Yeah LC, I heard that on the news... I was away in Kingston this weekend on a yearly rotating get together.. Anyway we stayed over in a KOA (RV park/campground). All the provincial and federal parks were full... The KOA had two sites remaining when we booked.. Our rig is a modest 24ft hybrid and I can tell you that gong through to our site left me feeling a little inadequate... RV wise that is :O).. Lots of big motor homes and travel trailers all much bigger than mine...

Now for some context.. We use a Safari AWD.. We run typically Toronto to Montreal @ 130 klics on less than a tank (110 litres) when not towing.. ie we make it to the chalet North of Montreal on one tank. With the trailer we average 95 and still use about 35% more gas... We get passed mostly :O) So yeah despite the RVs at fire sale prices like the one I bought.. folks are still making like Steppenwolf and heading out on the highway...
