Complaining about that is like complaining that Special Theory doesn't explain those things either. Evolution was never intended to be a grand unified theory of everything. The problem with creationism, from a scientific point of view, is it has no predictive power at all. It can't explain anything that we don't already know about. So, as a theory, it is worthless.
