Sounds a lot like the situation with long-distance telephone carriers (AT&T, WorldCom) a few years ago. I couldn't see why anyone would invest in them when cell phone LD was basically free. Probably the utilities will follow the same course--some will diversify and survive, some won't.
The Yahoo board is a total disaster. There's also a lot of inertia there--Good people just giving up in hand-wringing frustration instead of taking a positive step like coming to a new, more sophisticated board. Oh, well.
The action of the SIT.L SP, as one of our larger customers is disturbing.
