irby, Please forgive if these seem to be stupid questions as I am new to investing. If the market turns bearish would day traders be able to still benfit w/ less money in the market.. would your profit just be less?? Are there indicators to look for and day traders could short a stock? Since you dont watch short covering I assume you dont short stocks... Could anyone give me some ideas on this..
