Bill - Re :"There does seem to be a good shot for K7," That is one year or more away - I do recall Intel has not sent its engineers on a 1 year vacation. The K7 will be released into a competitive environment that will make today's market look like simplicity itself. Re: "is there any chance for a hostile takeover?" Sure - if anybody wants it.
