Question on Lookback for Time Warner?

How far will CCUR servers carry all the programming? A year? Or 10 years? If all the programming is saved in servers, Lookback never had to record anything for users(DVR)?

In the cable industry today, the main problems are state of the art Mpeg4/h.264-AVC, which is not compatible with 5 layer frontal projection Mpeg2 broadcasting cameras. JVC Mpeg4 camcorder still not 5 layers superimposed. Basically using DTV digital codes(regional TV station programming) and convert to Mpeg4/h.264-AVC.

The other problem cable has, is PBX(posix realtime telephony operating system) for users in on-demand operating system(5 million stream system, multicores plus multithreads). The old Mpeg1 can use deterministic realtime operating system with 12 threads each server.

Project manager for LA needs experience in telephone industry like your CEO(PBX experience).

If operations are not running into unforeseen delays; CCUR never had it so good? A few more wins and using standard solutions scalable to LA size?
