I've never said Obama was "guilty" of anything other than poor judgment for associating with known terrorists and others of doubtful character.

While it was true that McCain "associated" with Keating, there is no evidence of McCain associating with Keating AFTER Keating was alleged to have been a criminal. This is an important distinction.

You cannot bash someone for associating with a person they didn't know was a bad person. But you SHOULD bash someone for continuing associations with people whom they know are bad people.

Furthermore, Keating's wrongdoing was nowhere near on the level of that of Ayres and others. While it is arguable, in my opinion Rev. Wright's misbehavior is as bad as Keating's. But Ayres' is not even in the same ballpark. And Wright, Ayres, Khalidi may just be the tip of an iceberg. His association with other Islamacists are just starting to come to light.
