mostly off topic -[have you been to Sea World out in San Diego and is that where you get your name?]

Nope, although I've been planning a trip by train from Los Angeles with my son for quite some time (he recently turned 2 and is almost old enough to appreciate it). I would prefer to think that my name came from some large aquatic beast however it was given to me by a distant cousin, Schmendrake, who last I heard had inherited enough property to retire to a life of Scotch and the aggravation of being a landlord.
On the topic of SteveG; His posts have come reinforce my positive outlook. His constant personal crusade to discredit any optimistic projections for ADSL deployment undermine the seemingly factual and informed nature of what he has to say. His viewpoint comes across as anything but balanced. It's not what he says that bothers me -it's what he chooses to ignore or omit; rarely acknowledging a positive piece of information or a point well made. It strikes me as curious to say the least.
