John Mark Reynolds Misc., Politics 08.20.2008 According to the papers: “A combative Barack Obama said Tuesday that Republican John McCain “doesn’t know what he’s up against in this election . . .” Senator Obama says he will refuse to take any more “guff.” Guff? Obama is as distraught as can be and McCain is going to discover his game is not worth the candle! Combative Obama! (Maybe with Kung Fu Grip!) Fear increases in the McCain camp as they realize all their guff is coming home to roost. Obama is Going To Out-Guff John McCain! Negative Ads Saying McCain Is Naughty! Obama Guff That Boxes John’s Ears! Next thing you know Senator Obama will say John McCain is (warning to cover your child’s eyes) . . .”out of touch.” Hope-Change will rain down upon McCain like fire on the wicked. Oh the humanity. Let’s see: 1. Personally: McCain faced a flaming ball of death when his plane was hit by a rocket. He walked out alive. He can take the guff. 2. Personally: he survived years of torture and prison in Vietnam. He can stand some guff. 3. Politically: he faced Karl Rove and the Bush campaign in 2000 and survived to run again. Bring on the guff. 4. Politically: he faced a tough set of attacks from conservatives such as Rush in 2008. John McCain: Guff Ready on Day One.
