The RADIO SPECTRUM over our lands is owned by the American nation (except for specific frequencies that the American people have auctioned off... for example: Cell Phone frequencies.) I have participated in some of those auctions.... (But the radio spectrum that broadcast TV and broadcast radio uses was never sold to those industries --- it is only loaned to them --- for 'free', but with certain strings attached --- although it would easily be worth many, many BILLIONS at auction.)
