McNuts is totally nuts!

Twelve years ago there were five people who worked at eBay — and today one and half million people make their living off eBay. Now, you tell Meg Whitman that America’s best days are behind us.

This McNuts guy is so disconnected that it is unbelievable. How many of that alleged one and half million people are selling their old sno-globes and pewter figurines because

(a) they have lost their jobs and scraping the bottom of the barrel to try and sell whatever junk they have?

(b) they are upside down on their mortgages and facing foreclosure?

(c) they have already lost their homes and living in a small apartment and therefore had to try and sell the junk they acquired during so-called boom and "ownership society" years?

It's a safe bet that the median income of the one and half million part-time junk dealers on Ebay is about a couple of hundred dollars a month. And I am being very generous there! Most people on Amway (which is a scam masquerading as an entrepreneurial utopia) make about 60 bucks a month on average.

In case of a large number of folks on Ebay, selling stuff online is the modern day equivalent of selling apples on the street corner. And McNuts is proud of that????!!!! Sheesh!
