My thinking is that the foreign athletes earn their keep, just like American athletes. The universities want something and pay for it. The foreign students want something and work for it. If it wasn't a good deal for both sides the deal wouldn't get done. Just more work-a-day capitalism with a side order of Olympic drama thrown in, simply because this is the year the Olympics happened.
